Electric Power Board (EPB) of Chattanooga utility bonds ensure that utility customers provide prompt payment of electric bills for electric services supplied by the company. These bonds are put in place in lieu of a cash deposit as security for the payment of said electric bills.

The surety can cancel a Nashville Electric Service bond at any time by giving 60 days’ written notice to the Electric Power Board of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee.

Tennessee Regulatory Authority Wastewater Utility Bond

Tennessee wastewater utility bonds are required by the Tennessee Regulatory Authority. All persons and entities who operate public wastewater systems for compensation in the state of Tennessee must post this bond. This bond guarantees that the principal will construct and operate wastewater systems in compliance with all laws and rules of federal, local, and state government agencies.

Tennessee wastewater utility bonds have a set expiration date of one year from the date of execution. If the bond is to be canceled, a written notification must be sent to the Tennessee Regulatory Authority at least 60 days before the expiration date.
